MARSABIT NATIONAL PARK

The Marsabit National park is about 560km north of Nairobi in Marsabit district in northern Kenya, about. The vegetation here is densely forested mountain and three crater lakes. The national park is 1,500 Km2 in size.

Animals in this park include:  African elephant, Grevy’s zebra, lion, leopard, buffalo, bushbuck, lesser kudus, antelopes, Elephants, hyena, Kirk’s dik-dik, and baboon.

Access:
By Road: Drive from Nairobi 560 km or 263 km north of Isiolo. You can pass via Nanyuki and lsiolo.
By Air: Fly from Nairobi to Marsabit air strip, about 4km from the Park’s main gate.
