NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK


Nairobi National Park is located 7 kilometers south of the centre of Nairobi which is Kenya's capital city.  The park is 117 square kilometers in size. The vegetation in this park is mostly Acacia bushes, dry forest, grassland and rocky hillsides. This National park is home to over 500 species of birds and over 80 species of animals.

Animals in this park include: giraffe, eland, impala, buffalo, waterbuck, baboon, warthog, rock hyrax, black rhinoceros, cheetah, hartebeest, Grant's gazelle, hippopotamus, leopard and lion.

Bird species include: ostrich, eagles, vultures
