Saiwa Swamp National Park is the smallest national park and covers an area of 2.9km².  The vegetation is forest, swamp, tall bushes and reeds. Saiwa Swamp is located near Kitale town, in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. It is 385km northwest of Nairobi, close to the Ugandan border below the Cherangani Hills.  


Animals in this park include:  black and white Colobus monkeys, otters, genet cats, mongooses, bushbucks, De Brazzas monkeys, and sitatunga antelope
