Uganda Gorilla Habituation Experience is only done in the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is the home of mountain Gorillas in Uganda with more than half of the world’s population of these gentle giants.
Mountain Gorillas are inherently wild and Gorilla habituation is the process through which they are introduced to human presence and over time, become accustomed and ready for regular viewing by the public which is commonly known as Gorilla trekking.
The normal trek to the habituated Gorillas allows you up to a Maximum of 1 hour with them but the Gorilla habituation Experience allows you up to maximum 4 hours with these primates as the researchers and park ranger guides monitor and study them.
